The Team
Karl
Hi I’m Karl and I am the Founder and Director of eviL Culture Ltd. I’m 41 years old with 2 children. My Son, Travis is 9 and he does gymnastics for Britain. He is rank number 2 in the Midlands for his age group, which he is very proud of. My Daughter, Bo-Rae is 6 and loves drawing and dolls.
In my spare time, I enjoy road cycling, walking, gym, fashion (that’s why I wanted to start my own clothing range) and eating out. As I have many tattoos, people find it surprising that I have a phobia of needles. The most popular question I get asked from strangers is “did that hurt on your head?” The truth is it is probably the most therapeutic tattoo I have had done!
I have been in the construction industry for 22 years; I am a bricklayer hoddy by trade and have spent most of my career in the Rail sector. Ten years ago, I took a chance of getting involved in a cultural programme with the company I was with at the time and little did I know where it would take me. I have now travelled around most of the UK and Ireland, Austria, Madrid, Netherlands and I have done 3 stints in Australia too! During this time I was helping people to understand theirselves as an individual and their mindsets. I have worked with most major clients in the UK and I have been fortunate enough to be involved in the design and implementation of cultural programmes for HS2, CrossRail, London Power Tunnels (LPT2) and Deephams 2. I have ample experience of bringing Joint Ventures together and getting the teams to work collaboratively together.
I took the leap last year to start my own business; eviL culture Ltd. As I’m sure you’ve guessed, there is a reason behind the name and that will become more apparent if / when we work together. I came up with the name to cause disturbance within the Construction Industry, because eviL and culture should never go together. One thing I have maintained throughout my time in the Cultural / Behavioural field is working on the tools. I like to think I have a special quality, different to anyone else, which is that I regularly put my PPE on and go work with the teams on site for the day. I remember when I was full time on the tools and people would just turn up at site and then leave, it really frustrated me, so I like to build relationships with people before getting them in to a room for that face to face event / training day.
Georgia
My name is Georgia, I’m Karl’s partner and I am also a shareholder of eviL Culture Ltd.
Being a shareholder of the company, I have been here since the very beginning. Working together to build this company has been a fantastic adventure so far and I know that we have great things ahead of us.
I am the Marketing, Social Media & Merchandise Director for the company, which means I manage the social media accounts including marketing and producing new and interesting material, along with advertising the clothing range. I also support the company in various admin work, the day-to-day running of the company and the continuation of developing the company, with my background knowledge and experience of cultural engagement, alongside Karl’s.
I have worked in construction administration for 7 years. Therefore as well as being a shareholder and supporting eviL culture Ltd, I also have a full time job as Office Administrator for a Technical Drawing Office, which I had the opportunity of starting in August 2021. I cover a range of tasks within my role from Accounts/Admin/HR/Wages/PA role. So this fits in nicely with how I support eviL culture Ltd.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, holidays, going to the gym, shopping, spending time with Karl and his two children, visiting family & socialising.
Fraser
My name is Fraser, and I am a Non-Executive Director at eviL culture Ltd. My role is to support the company in its strategy and development, as well as utilising my experience and skills in cultural research and module design. Working with my wife as a partner of Capella Star Services, I offer expertise in research design and data analysis to clients through eviL culture Ltd. I have extensive experience in cultural development and employee engagement across various industries starting in 2009 with Masters level education in Psychology. I find people fascinating and have had the opportunity to work around the world talking to people about the psychology behind their mindsets, language, and choices.
My wife and I have two amazing boys and in our free time we like to holiday in Scotland and Cornwall, walking in forests, on cliffs and round lochs. My eldest and I enjoy football and as a family we are Brighton & Hove Albion supporters.
Chloe
First and foremost, I am a devoted mom of two beautiful boys! I relish the opportunities to use my education and experience while working from home and taking care of/running around after my children. My interests include walking, reading (when I have the time…), attending live music events, and travelling when there is no global pandemic.
I am a partner of Capella Star Services, and a research associate of eviL culture Ltd. Working in conjunction with eviL culture Ltd, Capella Star Services is involved in all research design, data analysis, and the reporting of research findings.
I have a wealth of research experience, including 7 years in the construction industry, and educated up to degree level. I met my husband while studying Psychology at Bangor University. I have a passion for improving mental health and chronic illness awareness, and I was part of the development team who designed the eviL mind module.

...of great value...
“I knew Karl in my time as CEO of J Murphy & Sons through 2015 - 2017.He was an important member of the Cultural Development Team at Murphy - an initiative which put Murphy at the forefront of driving the much-needed deep cultural change in the construction industry.
This Cultural Development Programme (CDP) was established to bring meaning and relevance amongst the whole workforce to the company values and engage their support in the delivery of its strategic purpose and business plans.
The programme focussed on the Murphy values of Never Harm, Always Deliver, Constantly Improve, Work as One Team and Respect All. Karl was a very effective member of this team helping to develop the delivery programme and leading a number of its coaching and training modules.
I have no doubt that his knowledge, enthusiasm, energy & integrity will be of great value to the clients of his newly formed venture”
